Dr Simon Tucker MB ChB, FRCP(UK), FACD

Dr Simon Tucker has worked as a dermatologist for over 18 years, studying at the University of Manchester and relocating to Cairns in October 2009.

With a special interest in the early diagnosis and management of skin cancer, Dr Tucker offers full skin checks, skin cancer removal and the treatment of melanoma with the least invasive approach and minimal scarring, particularly with trickier areas such as on the nose, lips and ears; plus he has a reputation of being very gentle with anaesthetics.

Dr Tucker consults on all aspects of dermatology with great success treating acne and other inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis using systemic treatments, including biologics where necessary. He also performs the investigation of potential contact allergies relevant to eczema with patch testing.
