Fees

We are a private billing practice. This means that you will have a gap payment (out of pocket expense) which will be the difference between the rebate you receive from Medicare and the consultation fee charged by the Doctor. Private fee for skin check is $120 with a rebate of $39.75.

Dr Simon Tucker and Dr Rob Miller are private billing Dermatologists. On allocation of appointment from triaged referral consultation fees will be explained.

Private fees for Skin checks provided by Dr Paul Ferguson and Dr Patricio Gordillo apply. Medicare rebates are available. Procedures incur a further fee including a theatre fee.

Making Payments

Payment is required on the day of the consultation and can be made by cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card. Bulk Billing is at the GPs discretion. Medicare cards and concession cards must be presented before each consultation. All fees must be paid in full at the end of the consultation or treatment.

Walk-ins

Cairns Skin Clinic do not take walk-in patients. Please call the centre to make an appointment.

Sometimes GPs are delayed by patients with urgent or complex issues. We apologise if you’re asked to wait and thank you for your patience.
