Skin Centre opens its doors

Cairns Skin Centre has opened its doors to the public.

The Centre, located in Manoora, represents a new era in Far North Queensland for the treatment of all skin-related medical conditions — as well as surgical and medical cosmetic treatment.

Practice Manager Rebecca Sheldon says the new centre has brought together a number of very experienced practitioners from across Queensland.

“We’re pleased to welcome Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon Dr Nita Ling who many Cairns locals will know from her previous practice on McLeod Street,” said Mrs Sheldon. “Dr Ling can perform a wide range of cosmetic, reconstructive and skin cancer surgery.

“Dr Simon Tucker also joins us as a Consultant Dermatologist – offering skin checks, skin cancer removal and treatment for melanoma. He is recognised for a minimally-invasive approach to skin cancer treatment, and is known around Cairns for being very gentle with anaesthetics.

“Finally, we’ve been joined by Senior Cosmetic Nurse Terry Hall, previously of Cairns Cosmetic Physicians. Terry will help you look and feel refreshed through anti-wrinkle, dermal filler, and rejuvenation treaments, along with a range of cosmeceuticals.

Cairns Skin Centre opened its doors in April at 161 Pease Street, Manoora.
